2020 PROM

My lovely Granddaughter is amongst the 2020 High School Seniors that are locked down this Spring.  No Prom and no walking across a stage to collect that coveted diploma after years of being in school.  This is so different.

Disappointed, yes.  All the pep talk about reasons to look toward the positive seem shallow when going through this.  Perhaps with some time, the pandemic will not hurt as badly.  Perhaps the positives will outweigh the negative.  Perhaps.  Safe at HOME.

She is wearing her 2020 Prom dress in this image and posing as a photographer snapped away.  Make-up and hair done.

Prom after all is a exercise in addressing a more formal event wearing formal attire to socialize, dine and a dance usually in ones junior and senior year of high school toward the end of the academic year.  Promenading or showing off oneself in lovely clothing and dressing up one's physique.  Displaying oneself when walking along.  Promenading.

Ones does have to have a DATE to do so.  All the preparations mean something.  The formality is a very good lesson in how to prepare for the future possibility of knowing some etiquette while going out for dinner and socializing.  Maybe even participating in some formal dancing.  ETIQUETTE.  A very civilized way to be formal and not so casual.

More to LIFE then being casual.

After having pictures, my Granddaughter returned HOME with her Mom to a Prom inside their HOME.  The Living room was decorated for a party.  They ate and danced.  Took some more pictures and enjoyed their time together as a family sheltering in place during this pandemic.

The entire family celebrated,

Let The Fresh Air In

THANKFUL FOR THE FRESH AIR and the sound of chirping birds drifting into the house making this place more peaceful and relaxed.  The birds are singing gentle melodies that satisfy my soul.  So comforting.  It's a very soothing gentle sound.  Where I sit in the living room I can see outside through the French doors.  A nice place to be.

Grey skies moved in as we had a gentle SPRING RAIN to water nature.  Some of our Irises have bloomed.  More to follow.  I am looking forward to the blooms.  Makes me smile and my heart sing.  Glorious time of year.   Weeds need pulled from the flowerbeds.  I think if we were to do the weed pulling in March, we'd be ahead of the April growth.  This past March was interrupted by the sheltering at HOME and to be truthful, I did not want to go outside very badly.  So the weeds grew and I stayed inside.  There's HOPE and the weeds will be pulled one at a time.

TUESDAY NEWSPAPER awaits me in the mail.  There will be little news.  Most of my information is coming from the internet.  A few new magazines need me to thumb through them and ooh and awe at how pretty someones garden is, or admire the beautiful tablescape.  Not to mention how delicious the recipe turned out.  How clever of so and so.  Handy tips and hacks for making life more affordable.

TODAY PLANS.  I trimmed my hair about an inch.  A dry cut since my hair is so curly.  Brushing my mop into a backwards ponytail hanging over my eyes, I rubber banded it at my forehead.  Took the pony tail and rubber banded again toward the tip.  Found my tiny scissors and snipped the end off about an inch.  Wallah.  She is trimmed.

I will continue to file receipts and do some book keeping.  One of these sweet days, I will be able to say the paperwork is finished.  Just not today.  More laundry to do.  The little wash machine that I hook up to the kitchen faucet is working out fine.  One little pile of laundry at a time.  Wash then rinse.  Stop.  Pause.  Allow the spin to run for only a minute.  Then stop and begin to hang articles on hanger to air dry.  After the machine is empty, I turn the spin back on to empty the machine.  If I let the machine do an entire cycle of spinning the articles come out of the machine way too wrinkled and I don't want to add ironing to my errands at the time.

Exercising is happening as I move more.  Deep breathing involved.  I need to increase the activity.  Still my feet hurt way too much to walk.  Doing what I can.  Eat a salad and drink some filtered water.  Keep moving.  Stay calm and keep moving.  Keep moving.

I can almost forget the pandemic.  Friday to come, I'll be reading that the cases have spiked in Minnesota, Michigan and Virgina as many communities begin to reopen their stores.  These three states were encouraged by our President to protest their democratic governors lock downs.  These are what are called SWING STATES and if there is a surge of coronavirus cases, then it will give way to our President saying these governors did not know what they were doing.  Which will encourage others to vote the governors out and vote republican.  I don't pay much attention to how politics works, but I figured this one out on my own.  In a week and a half, Kansas will have a spike and Colorado as well as they had rallies to protest the lock downs.  Kansas has a democratic governor.  Colorado?  A democrat as well.

My mind wonders.
All in a days work.

MONDAY

The end of the month is crawling along.  I have laundry to do for sure.  Paperwork to thin out and file.  A letter to write to my older brother who is in lockdown.  My thoughts are with those in lockdown.  My thoughts are about this pandemic and how things have changed.  The luxury to come and go as you please has vanished.  Not sure if it will return or not.  Just being real.
I must get out of my chair.

We had a decent week-end and I am ready for this week.  Hubby continued to bat-proof the carriage house.  He has completed this task.  Each year just about this time, the bats fly into the area looking for a place to roost in our carriage house.  It had an opened eave where they freely entered the carriage house to hang out and sleep.  Last year my Husband and our son placed wire around the carriage house eave to prevent the bats from entering through the eave.  Keep them out.  We had the carriage house professionally cleaned so we could move forward to creating a safer and cleaner space for a studio.

Last June is when we had a bat get into the house flying about causing me almost heart failure and I'm not joking.  I had a screaming fit as I was reclined in my chair.  With each attempt to get out of my chair, the bat would dodge at me.  Long story short, the bat was chased out into the screened in porch for the night and would be gone by morning.

Earlier in the day, my Husband had closed an entrance to under our house and we believe it was trapped in the crawled space looking for a way out coming through a vent in the house.  Welp, it managed to get out of the crawl space and get into the living room while I was on the computer late at night.  I saw this brown bat fluttering by the fireplace and I came unglued.

Hubby had gone to bed but I woke him with my screams that could have woke the dead.  My son was asleep as well.  Both came to my rescue as I screamed, "There's a bat!!!!!!"

The story ended well, but I have anxiety about bats getting into the house.

Moving right along.  We oohed and awed at a couple of tiny irises that have bloomed.  They are early this year.  They may be tiny, but we sure enjoyed them.

I'll hook up the portable washing machine here in a little bit to get a load of shirts done.  I am confessing that I have fallen down on the job concerning laundry.  I cleaned one of the toilets early this morning. Disinfected the sink handles.  Will go through the lysol sprayed mail/. Our mail is sprayed and given a few days to set.  A cautionary measure we are taking at this time.  Say what you will.  We are being cautious.

This week the temps are to be SPRING LIKE in the high 70s so I will strive to get the laundry caught up with hanging shirts on hangers and placing them on a rack to air dry.

Last Thursday, people from about the state of Kansas met up in TOPEKA to protest against the Kansas Governor for using guidelines to slow the spread of this dreaded virus.  I'm not sure how much good this did as I will not be surprised if the virus spikes this week due to the protesters ignoring the guidelines.  Few wore face masks and few social distanced 6 feet apart.  I watched online and saw many crowding together not wearing mask.  The ones carrying guns would be captured in still pictures.

The Thursday evening news did not show those who were hanging onto their semi automatic weapons.  It made me cringe to see some so heavily armed that I would not want to be around them.  Who are they anyways?

Why were they embellishing their weapons in army fatigues at a peaceful protest?  The WIBW news remained quiet as to what these people were doing.  Not an accurate account of the protest by the news.  I suppose it was to keep others from chiming in touting more weapons at the next protest in another state.

A false sense of security?
I don't think the guns will kill the virus.

With this virus very much around...I don't want to go out.  Reopening businesses?  More people out amongst the public.  Makes me tired.

I have exhausted watching the CORONAVIRUS TASK FORCE BRIEFINGS.  After last Thursday's disinfectant remarks and Friday's Presidential comments about being sarcastic to reporters, I am done.  It seems that the briefings will not be daily and I am not sure there will be anymore on the lines of the coronavirus.  Instead there will be briefings about the economy.  I seriously doubt I will be watching these.  My heart sinks when the President talks about television ratings being so high verses the pandemic information.

I was watching the briefings to be better informed as we do not have a pandemic every year.  This is like a very bad dream and I needed to be better informed.  I wanted to be better informed.  What I got was something else about healing our land leaving God out of this phrase.  Our people need healed and a virus to die off.

I had wondered why there was such animosity between the President Trump and reporters.

I am having my second cup of coffee.  Better get that load of laundry started.  Making a grocery list out so I'll have to make a grocery run this week.  I want to try making a crock pot meal with chicken breasts and dressing.   Thought this one would be a great one, but I have to get some dressing mix.

Making my weekly plans and it is relaxing to be at HOME,

SPOILER ALERT: This is not FAKE NEWS

SPOILER ALERT:  I am not bashing the President.  I watch daily the WHITE HOUSE CORONAVIRUS TASK FORCE BRIEFINGS.

If I miss the actual briefing, I watch it later on youtube.  Handy.  I can rewind and listen to the briefing when I watch youtube.  Which is very helpful.

Prayers for our President, our country, our government,
the ill and suffering.

There have been a few times that I wasn't a fan of what I witnessed.  The day that a video was played praising the president for all the good he has done made a campaign statement come alive.  I questioned why is a briefing about a deadly virus being used as a campaign platform?  Briefings are suppose to be about...

After a couple of weeks of these briefings, I wondered why they were so long and why is the President doing most of the talking when Vice President Pence is the lead on this task force?  2 to 3 hours a day is plenty.  A briefing should be short.  Maybe 10 minutes.  No longer than 30 minutes?

Last week-end's briefing was very disturbing as our President rambled on and on about something that was already discussed.  It was almost like he was babbling.  Rambling.

April 23rd's briefing.  I almost did not flinch when our commander and chief suggested that disinfectants be injected and ingested as a treatment against the coronavirus.  The UV light was more of the same.  I came back to reality after I watched this portion of the briefing later.  Slept on it and wondered what he will say next.  I watched it a number of times and he did indeed suggest that people should take disinfectant to combat the coronavirus.  He did indeed say to use light outside and inside the body.  A suggestion.

Today, he is saying that he was being sarcastic when talking about disinfectant and uv light.  I don't think so as I have watched several times to his comments about the treatment suggestion and he comes across as genuinely serious.  People are looking to the President as our leader during this horrible pandemic, not as a stand up comedian.

It's alright to have an opinion about what to try out on coronavirus patients, but do this outside the briefing and not during a briefing.  The briefing is a time to inform the people about facts and figures, not a time for open debate as to what to do for the ill.

As the numbers of the infected climbs in southwest Kansas where I grew up, I question where this virus will end.  If it ends.  25% of fresh meat comes from this corner of the state.  It will certainly affect the meat prices and availability in the grocery stores.

This. is. not. FAKE NEWS,

Catalog Sales

CATALOG SALES were very common when I was growing up.  Two places in Liberal, KS that I can think of had Catalog Departments.  JC Penney.  Sears.  Montgomery Wards.  That'd be three.  Each had catalogs.  JC Penney was the only large brick and mortar shop with a catalog.  The other two had small stores with a counter across the room to place your personal order or phone it into a actual warm body that wrote your order down and called it into the large warehouse.  You'd wait about a week when the clerk would telephone you to let you know your order was ready for pick up.

I not only liked looking through the thick catalogs, but when Mom was finished with them, we the children would play with the pages that we had torn out of the catalogs.  My pretend house that I made while lying on the floor were pages torn out of the catalogs.  My house might have 5 kitchens, 7 bathrooms, a multitude of bedrooms and living rooms.  It was truly a treat to lay out on the floor my floorpans for the house of my dreams.

When I worked at JC Penney as a High schooler, I sometimes worked as the Catalog clerk.  I'd sit at a desk with telephone in hand and ring the customers to tell them their order was in.  An easy job that I think I could do in my present condition as a 64 year old Grandma.  Pleasant on the phone and steady with the phone.  I'd much rather do this then to count back change to the customer.  I never liked doing this as I feared I'd mess up the math in my head and mess up the transaction.  Still like this even today.

Back in the day, it was typical to look through a catalog and order from the store location either in person or in the comfort of ones HOME.  When the articles arrived, you'd go to their store and pick the item up after paying by check or credit card.  Sometimes cash.  Was a thrill to carry the brown wrapped item to the car and return HOME to open.  A thrill.  Still a thrill when the wrap turned to transparent plastic.  I can see a item in there folded in a funky arrangement.  Waiting to get HOME to unfold the article was expected.  Quickly we could tell if the item was going to work out for us or not.

The Department stores that were on Main Street were Penney's, Levine's and Anthony's.  Other cute clothing stores were on the main drag.  Mom and Pop Businesses.  Some CHAIN STORE small shops.  We had a real downtown to shop.  Visions are in my head.  Dime stores, clothing stores, restaurants, just about anything you wanted.  Even a Movie Theatre with snack bar.  Grocery stores, Barber Shops, Beauty Parlors.  Pharmacy.  Card and Gift Shop.  Antique Store, Dairy Queen, Photography Studio.  Ice Cream Store, Library, Post Office, City Building, Phone Company, Newspaper Office, Banks, Fire Department.  Schools and Hospital.

I remember well the day the Gibson Discount Store opened.  It was the talk of the town.  They'd do well and move into a new building to sell their items much like a Way-Mart of todays.

There was a special time in the summer where the shops placed items out on the sidewalks on racks and tables where  people would shop for bargains galore.  The sales clerks dressed as clowns because the special day was called BAZAAR DAY.  This is when I saw a young child sporting a mohawk haircut.  It appeared strange to me as I had never seen one on a real human.  Barely illustrations in books let alone one in my space.  The little boy with the mohawk was holding a man's hand.  I suppose the man was his Dad.  I gawked at the boy as I shopped in the Woolworth's Dime Store.  Gosh, I liked this wide open store that had so much in there that a person could practically decorate a whole house from their inventory.  I still recall the boy.  A memory I have held for years.  57 years or more.  I haven't seen a mohawk lately.  Wonder why.

Since the PANDEMIC, I have not ordered any clothing from a catalog. I've ordered a book.  The ordering through mail is similar to ordering from the catalogs in days gone by.  It can be done.  Slow to spend and slow to save.  Blessings to you.

SPRING IS HERE and I need to take a walk while I still can,

JUNK YARD SALAD

CHILLED and sweeeeet.
This could be a match made in HEAVEN.
If I have a can of cherry pie filling and all the other stuff in the house, I will make this.

NOPE, don't have cool whip.
No Eagle Brand milk or marshmallows......sigh.
If I make a ongoing grocery list, I will have to get the fixings
and go from there.

SHOULD BE something to dream about.
Cold and fluffy.
Deliciously thought about,

MOM IN LAW's TEA SET

She's gone now, but I have her pretty Tea Cup Set
sitting on my Grandma's Hutch.

The sunlight was shinning into the room  j u s t  right.
Moss Rose pattern.

Grabbed the camera.
Snap.

By the way, that pretty pink rose in the tea cup is real.
It dried out on it's own and left me a beautifully shaped dried flower.
Tis nice when things like this happen.

I've since added to this on my own with a sugar bowl and creamer.
Pleased to capture this moment in time,

A HAPPY ACCIDENT

I TEND TO BE FATIGUED.   I know myself somewhat and I tend to be tired so much of the time.  Thyroid issues and Vitamin D deficiency.  So I decided I will give GERITOL multivitamin a whirl.  I had it in my head that GERITOL was only liquid and had no idea that they had multivitamins.

My sweet husband did not know that I had wanted the liquid so he ordered their vitamin.  Ordered this by phone from our local pharmacist when placing a refill on his meds so they could deliver it to our door.  A very nice service to those who do not want to physically go to the brick and mortar store.  They faithfully delivered the GERITOL.

When I saw the multivitamin, I got on line to read about their product.  This snag of receiving the vitamin instead of liquid was a HAPPY ACCIDENT.

This was my AHH HAA moment when I read that GERITOL uses carbonyl iron which is not derived from animal sources or blood in their vitamin.  CARBONYL IRON.

WHAT IS CARBONYL IRON?
Carbonyl iron is a pure form of mineral iron that is naturally regulated by the body, making it gentler on the system. Unlike many other forms of iron available, carbonyl iron is not derived from animal sources or blood. Instead, carbonyl iron is a very fine white or grey powder. That’s why you might also see carbonyl iron referred to as “pure iron micro particles.”

So I got to thinking, blood?  Mercy, have I been taking products with animal blood?  Surely not.  Next step is to check out what products have blood in them.  So have I been taking products with blood?  Sure enough blood is used as an emulsifier and stabilizer in foods and medicines.  The blood from beef packing plants is sold and used in products.

Not sure we're suppose to be consuming products with blood in it.  Another thing to think about.

BETTER EDUCATED THAN THE DAY BEFORE,
d

SPRING 2020

A SPECIAL MOMENT IN TIME THIS SPRING WAS CAPTURED AS WE DROVE PAST THE PARK.  Lifting my spirits to get out of the house for a few minutes to see some GREEN and feel some sunshine.  Fresh air.

Now I have to walk up and down the flight of stairs three times,
do a load of laundry and go through some paperwork.

Blessings from my corner of the world where we still must wear masks and gloves,

OLD DOGS LEARNING NEW TRICKS

RESURRECTION SUNDAY was cloudy and rainy.  Cold and windy at 28 degrees.  Inside we were comfortable and that's that.  Our EASTER MEAL was over the top SIMPLE.  Just had to be as we have not been out of the house to grocery shop in days and worked from what was in the pantry and fridge.

A canned miniature ham, deviled eggs, green beans and iced tea.  Whaaaalah that was it.  No Easter Baskets, no chocolate bunnies, no Easter eggs to color.

NOT EXACTLY A HAM LIKE THE ONE IN THE MOVIE CHRISTMAS WITH THE KRANKS.
THIS PICTURE IS NEARLY THE ACTUAL SIZE OF THE HAM WE HAD.  HaHa
I let a cry out when my hubby presented me with a BUNNY WREATH that had been in the basement.  Due to the Sheltering In, I just have not FELT like decorating.  Cleaning isn't exactly exciting in which I have to be my own cheerleader to keep on keeping on.  U Go Girl!  I need some sunshine.

He handed me a purple Easter egg with another purple egg inside which had Christmas kisses wrapped in red foil.  I was really delighted to receive this.

Easter Day IN OUR SMALL TOWN.

The most important thing is that we were together and know that Jesus is risen.  He's alive and we're forgiven children of Almighty GOD.

Our SUNDAY was simple.

Daughter and Grand Skyped with me and we chatted.  Another Son phoned us.

I wanted to see the beautiful tulips in our community before they disappear after the frost and wind gets them.  Getting out of the house for a few minutes.  We took a drive and we snapped a few pictures of the colorful flowers.  Then we got in trouble when I was turning the car around in the road.  A woman screamed profanities at us from her front porch and I didn't know why as I was turning the car around on a muddy road.  Her husband came outside of their house as well and asked as we drove past them if we were going to fix the yard?

FIX THE YARD?  What do you mean?  I was on a public dirt road.

I was not in their yard.  We had gone to look at a new event center down by the river and when we saw how unsafe the road leading to the event center was, I did a 3 point turn on the dirt road.  We drove by the couple as they stood on their porch yelling at us.  I should have just drove on as we were not in their yard, but being the people we are we just had to tell them we were on the road not their yard.

Their secluded property is down by the river, but this new event center is being made out of an old stone barn by their property.  The new owners of this center are doing a beautiful job making it a very nice and functioning business.  In order to do that, they have obviously had construction workers with their trucks down by the river making the barn a beautiful building.  More activity must not be welcomed to the older couple in their once secluded home.  This was obvious when we drove down the muddy dirt road to the event center.

They did not like us being there.  Oops.  It is going to get very busy when the event center is completed and more families celebrate their special day at the place.  When the ban is lifted and people can gather once again, then the traffic flow will pass by their secluded house and the woman will probably grow horse from yelling profanities at the passer-byers.  This will not be a pretty sight or music to anyone's ears.  The police may have to be brought into this situation.  SO goes the mundane lives of this little town.

There's nothing quite like being cussed out by an old women standing on her porch screaming profanities at me on a Easter Sunday afternoon after being sheltered inside for days and wanting to get some fresh air and a change of scenery.  I got both the fresh air and the change of scenery.  My ears heard words that a drunken sailor might mutter.  She needs prayer, but then so do I.  The air was blue where she was standing so I knew not to suck this in.  Kind of like the coronavirus, you know you do not want to suck it in.

Today on this sunshiny day, we took a short walk to the post office to drop a letter off in their outside mail drop then took a sharp right turn to walk by some closed stores on Main Street.  Walked back home.  My lower back wanted to scream.  It hurts.  We walked anyways.  Seeing the stores closed is odd and eery to say the least.  Towns all across the country are closed.  The hardship that is sure to follow this pandemic will be awful.  Our sadness may turn into an economic depression for the entire country.

The Pharmacy made a medicine delivery to our HOME.  I peeked through the hole in the door.  This is new to have medicine delivered to our HOME.  I spoke through the door to the young man wearing a bandana over his nose and mouth.

Also we emailed a grocery list to the local Grocery Store and will go pick it up tomorrow after they phone to tell us our order is ready.  We can write a check leaving the order in the trunk of the car without being overly close to the delivery boy.  The check will be taped to the inside trunk lid.  He'll close the lid and we'll drive home wearing throwaway gloves as we handle unloading the groceries.  The packaging will be sanitized before we put the goods away.

I never knew we could do this as middle aged people.  We are like old dogs learning new tricks.

The left over Easter Ham was made into Ham Salad for sandwiches.  Actually tasted good on the soft bread.  Supper tonight was Ham Salad Sandwiches, ripple chips and baby carrots.  We are not starving yet, but not dining in gourmet fashion at HARRY's in Manhattan.  Somehow this old dog likes eating in the quiet of her HOME.

Dog treats to follow,
d

GOOD FRIDAY and IT'S GOOD

ON THIS GOOD FRIDAY I will rejoice because I can.  I will it.  JESUS, the lamb of God, died on the cross for all mankind's sin, stayed in the grave 3 days, then rose from the dead.  It's through him we can be redeemed and called a child of God after receiving him as our Savior.  We can have everlasting LIFE.

For God so loved the world that HE gave HIS only begotten son, Jesus,  that WHO SO EVER BELIEVES IN HIM shall not perish, but have ever lasting LIFE!  John 3:16

CAN I GET A AMEN?
Resurrection SUNDAY is coming.
Jesus lives.

The weather is beautiful today, but we cannot open the windows to let fresh air in because of the PRAIRIE SMOKE from the prairie fires.  SHUCKS and a half.  57 degrees.  With temps being around 79 tomorrow.  It plays havoc on asthmatics and I am one.  So is my Sweetheart.  Together we stand, together we faint.

I would love to go for a walk.  The redbud tree in our backyard is in bloom and I noticed the Irises by the fence are growing upwards with thick green leaves.  The countdown starts this month as the Irises will bloom.  Come May Day they will be taking shape and blooming.  They were moved alongside of the fence last Summer.   Pics to follow.  Sometimes the Irises go into shock when relocated and don't bloom as well until they have had time to get over the shock.  Two years later...watch out!  They bloom beautifully.

This year I cannot hardly contain myself as there will be some new ones to bloom.  LOoKING FORWaRD to this.  My special SPRING treat.  Makes me smile really big.

Our son loaded up a moving truck yesterday to take his belongings back to a new apartment in Missouri   We could not be around our own son due to this SHELTERING IN.  We talked to each other via our phones.  His belongings have been in our garage and basement for a year as he was in between jobs and housing situation.  Before our son came here to load up his belongings my dear Hubby carried the boxes from our basement to the Carriage house and stacked stuff as if he was going to pack a moving van full.  This way when our son came with the moving truck, our son could load the truck by himself and away he went.  He is safely at his new location with his belongings that he packed in the truck and unloaded at new location by himself.  Oh, to be 42 again and full of muscles and gumption.

My dear Husband is resting now as he worked three days carrying boxes out of the basement and walking across the yard to the Carriage house, then stacking boxes and items in a specific order making loading a moving van easier.  Shuffling and arranging a dining room table and chairs, bed, television, microwave, etc.  Boxes, boxes, boxes.

I used my son's microwave for a year because ours broke and he offered the use of his.  He took it with him.  Good-bye.  Parting is such sweet sorrow.  I suppose we will have to shop on line for a microwave now as we used it to pop popcorn almost every night.  Pause.  Silence.  Humpf.

I said I wanted to go back in time.  Welp, I guess microwaves are really not 1880sish.  I will make a huge exception and use a microwave.  Yes, I give myself permission to use this wonderful device called a microwave, that cooks a potato in 4 minutes, melts butter, warms leftovers, thaws meat out, and pops popcorn.  I limit it there as I never nuked cakes or kitties in one.

Last week I could not hug my daughter for her 40th Birthday...this week I could not hug my son as he arrived and departed nor take my Mom out for her 88th Birthday.  Makes me cry.  I will survive.

I have listened to so many hours of the Coronavirus Task Force Briefings that I am going to have to take a BREAK from it.  The briefings seemed to became a TRUMP RALLY for campaigning.  I can only RALLY for so long then I have to do something else like live.

I check briefer BRIEFS online.  I will not be watching hours and hours of TRUMP TV.  I cannot.  Growing weary of too much information.  I have a book by TRUMP that I will be thumbing through later in life.  I wanted to read for myself that Mr. Trump mentions his Kabbalist Teacher, Eitan Yardeni.  He does on page 188 of his book, TRUMP: The Way To The Top: The Best Business Advice I Ever Received.

We do live in interesting times.

Moving right along.
'EASY DOES IT MEATLOAF' was a success.
I will sing the praises of this recipe.  Very very good!

Well, Hello Beautiful!

Have a blessed week-end and stay safe.

DECORATING

I knew a very frugal Lady named Edith that shared with me a excellent guideline for decorating. She said with ease, "If your room has clean ceilings, floors, and walls, and the windows have nice curtains, you'll have an attractive room."

John 3:7

“Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.”

King James Version (KJV)

PSALM 118:17

I shall not die,
but live, and declare
the works of the Lord.

PROVERBS 24:3-4

By wisdom
a house is built,
and through understanding

it is established;
through
knowledge

its rooms are filled with rare

and beautiful treasures.

BLOSSOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED

BLOSSOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED
As long as I live, I will have to continually submit to God's plan for my life. You will be blessed because you turned your life over to God. Be confessing how good God is and tell Him you agree with who He says He is. BELIEVE and watch miracles happen. Be not afraid. ~Deanna

WISHES

NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU WISH with all your might that the something devastating that happened in your life hadn't happened and want so badly to go back in time to prevent it from happening...it isn't humanly possible to do this. You can't change the fact that it happened. IT DID. But JESUS can change the MEANING of what happened to you and give you PEACE. He can show you the way in which you are to go. God richly BLESS you. ~Deanna
