Relaxing Time At The Tea Room

Have you ever just ran out of juice...sort of speak.  Some of you know exactly what I'm talkin' about.  Some of you will experience this in the near future.  When you burn the candle at both ends (heard this saying before?)  the flame will eventually snuff out or BURN OUT as the two ends meet each other.

I feel refreshed after a spell of...i'm weary.  All this STUFF that's bothering me or requires tons of energy to deal with, took a toll on me.  Give it to the Lord.  Yes, I agree, but even Jesus had to rest.  He got physically tired.  He sat at the well and when a woman came along to fitch water...he visited with her about her life and she came to the end of herself, received Christ and returned to her village to give Jesus a SHOUT OUT.  She was ready to receive from Jesus, the giver of life, life eternal.

I love the Lord.....and I needed refreshed.   Refilled.  After having cancer that I know was in my body 20 years, and the busi~ness that life can bring......i had to say whoa.  I admitted to God, Hubby and self that the last few years were difficult.  I needed refreshed.  You know when you get REAL and admit to yourself I'm weary...LORD, HELP ME.  PLEASE HELP ME......He hears you and is ready to refresh you.  PLEASE REFRESH ME.  Fill me up with your Spirit and refresh me.  I beseech thee.

I beseech thee.

Every one...even God's children need an encouraging word now and then.  Be encouraged.  You are loved by a God that loves you as no human can.  He desires a personal relationship with you.  Imagine that...the Creator of the UNIVERSE desires you to have a personal relationship with HIM, be His Child, Friend and have fellowship with HIM.  Let His PRESENCE be known to you.  NOTHING LIKE IT.

You can know God for yourself through being BORN AGAIN when Jesus becomes your personal saviour.  You become the righteousness of God.  After this......you can know God and He becomes knowable.  You don't have to guess anymore.  He claims you.  It's now possible to feel HIS PRESENCE.  NOTHING LIKE THIS.  Refreshed.  If you're BORN AGAIN and you have never felt HIS PRESENCE...ask HIM. 


 

~THE TEA ROOM~

I had forgotten about the Victorian Trading Company store in the Kansas City area until I saw a sign that said PRAIRIE VILLAGE and this jogged my memory.  Years ago I shopped the store and discovered their beautiful Tea Room in the back of the store.

I had wanted to return one day to take my Hubby and Daughter there for fun.  That day had come when we were recently in KC.  Going on memory and help from God, we found the place without having an address.

Wasn't sure the Tea Room was still there or not.  Walked inside the store, went to the back room and there was the TEA ROOM.  My heart skipped a beat....it was just as charming as ever.  BEAUTIFUL.

I laughed when my husband said...do real men drink tea? 

Yes, Honey, they do.

Please join me. You have your pick of whatever flavor tea you'd like.  I played it safe and went with Earl Grey.  Hubby had Peach- Apricot and Daughter had Maple Tea.

Does your cup runneth over?

If you don't know God for yourself, you can this very moment.  He can become real to you.  You can become a Child of the Most High God right this minute through Christ Jesus.  Tell HIM, GOD I don't know you, but I want to.  I'm going to take you by faith and believe you are alive.  You are Almighty God.  None higher.  You're hearing me right this moment.  You sent Jesus into the world to save us.  You sent Jesus so I can understand the things of God.  You sent Jesus so I could be placed in a rightful relationship with you.  I can personally know you through accepting your perfect way of redemption for mankind through accepting Jesus as my personal saviour.  Without your spirit in me I cannot know you or understand your ways.  I can have your Holy Spirit for myself through Jesus Christ.  Your Son Jesus walked the earth about 2000 years ago and died for my sins.  He became sin.  He took my sins.  Jesus, you are the Son of God.  You died for my sins on the cross, but you didn't stay dead on the cross.  You rose from the grave and sit at the right hand of God.  A place of authority.  You are the living God.  You are the very nature of  God.  It is through you that I become who I am suppose to be.  You will give me meaning and understanding.  You will give me purpose.  You will reveal to me what the will of God is for my life.  That is to know GOD.  I need you in my life.  Become my God.  Let me know you for myself.  Be real to me.  Forgive me of all my sins, past, present and future.  Fill me with your Holy Spirit and claim me as your dear child.  I need you and I want you for myself.  Jesus, be my personal saviour and save me.  Give me your salvation and peace.  In Jesus Name I pray this.  Amen. And Amen.  Thank you.  I thank you for hearing my prayer.  Thank you for becoming my God.  Thank you for a personal relationship with you where you will never leave me or forsake me.  Thank you for Life abundant.  Fall a fresh on me Holy Spirit.  A fresh.  Let me understand the Bible, the written word of God.  I am now Heaven BOUND.

If this is you that asked God to become your God through Jesus Christ,  you are born anew.  That spiritual part of you that was lacking has now been regenerated.  Welcome to the family of God.  You just were adopted into the Family of God.  You are now a child of God!  You are the righteousness of God.  You will need to read the Bible for yourself.  Ask God to make His word become real and alive to you.  Ask Him to make you understand what you are reading.  Find a Bible Believing Christian Church in your area that teaches God's truths.  You don't need another book to follow God's instructions....the Bible will teach you.  Ask God to help you live a life that is pleasing to Him.  Ask Him to give you Christian Friends that are balanced and not fanatical.  Ask God to give you a mature Christian mentor to visit with that will pray for you and with you. 

Christianity is a relationship with God where you are His Child not a religion where you work your way toward what you think will get favor with God.  Christianity is about gaining God's favor through the way God wants you to experience.   It is Jesus who did the work, not people.  He will tell you come unto me all you that are heavy laden and I will give you rest.  Jesus will.  Not people.  Not religion with works.  Jesus will give you peace, rest, and a future.
