Teddy Bears found a HOME
in our smallest Bedroom which is the Guest Room.
The room was recently painted
COTTON BLOSSOM in Dutch Boy Paint.
WARM WHITE for trim and windows.
With old white Priscilla Curtains hanging in the windows
and a light green quilt on Grandma's bed, this little room is about as done as it's going to get.
It took a few years to pull this room together. Waited patiently.
Life got in the way and that's always a challenge.
Step one was to hang our Shabby Chic Chandy
from the Dining room which replaced an old light fixture
that I can't remember what it looked like.
A dimmer switch was added. Admiring the difference
this made, time passed and I continued to wait.
Husband beaded board the walls then framed the windows
with belly band and rosettes. Crown molding went up.
Paint finished the project.
A new mattress and box springs were added after we inherited Husband's
Grandmother's three piece Bedroom Suite.
Behind this white door is a VERY small closet.
Decorating On the Prairie
has a finished Bedroom that is a welcomed sight
in our old stone house.
