MAY DAY WISHES

WELCOME FRIDAY!  It's the first day of MAY!  HaPPY MAY DAY. 🌹 I should gather up some flowers and bring them inside to add some nature inside of my COTTAGE.  I have a pretty crystal vase waiting to be filled.  I can place the vase to admire on the Dining room table.

The week-end is here.  I need to prepare for a Grandson who is coming over to spend the night with us.  Hubby is going to look for some miniature trains and tracks to set up so he can see the Choo-choo in action running on the living room, dining room and kitchen floors.  Making memories.  He'll be thrilled.

FINALLY got the catch-all items OFF the Dining room table.  I've been going through things deciding what to keep, pitch, sell or donate.  It's something I need to get faster at so I am not bogged down with decluttering.  A full box will be taken to GOODWILL this afternoon.

On my outing, I will treat myself to my favorite unsweetened Iced GREEN Tea drink.  Zero calories and refreshing.  I look forward to this treat instead of gooey desserts with a sugar and fat load.  Pat my 'ole self on the back and be pleased that I received a blessing.  Green tea is suppose to be GOOD for ya in many, many ways.

TODAY, I started another round of the Daniel Diet/FAST.  In the back of my mind, I know I will have LABS in 2 and a half months for my yearly physical.  It gives me a goal to aim for to lower my cholesterol, blood pressure, A1c and hopefully thin down some because I will lose a few pounds.  I need to go weigh myself and start a weight-loss journal.  Better get this done.  I'll do a little walking today.

This month, with the detailed housekeeping I plan to clean the ceiling fans and paint the living room ceiling.  I hope I can get this done.  The flowerbeds need cleaned out and the garage gone through pitching unnecessary junk.  Shall see how far I get.

Wishing you all the best this MAY DAY!

MaY DaY

HaPpY mAy DaY!!!
A beautiful day today
in my neck of the woods.

I didn't leave any May Baskets on doors this year.
LOVE the memory.
There weren't any on my door knob either.
Sniff.

A Late night thunder storm
with threats of tornadoes has rolled in.
Mother Nature is something to reckon with.
It's not nice to fool Mother Nature.

THIS FLAG IS FROM 6 YEARS AGO.

SO far our Flags haven't bloomed.  Running late this SPRING.
Thought this Iris was beautiful.  Hope we get some just like this when they bloom.  Shall see.  It'll be like waiting to see what is in a Christmas package not knowing what's inside since we relocated these Irises from our Rock-Houz.

Today was productive as I shuffled the Living room furniture about.  Like the out kind.  Tomorrow more will take place.

Finally,
d

Rain Rain Go Away Come Again Another Day

JUST LIKE I REMEMBER

SUNDAY AFTERNOON AS WE DROVE FROM ST. LOUIS to Kansasland the rain poured so heavy I couldn't see very well behind the wheel.  Slowing down to a snail's pace, I got nervous.  Very uncomfortable.  The flashers went on, the speed of the car slowed way down as other cars were pulling over to the side of the road.

The last three days was a continuous storm.  Rumbling thunder with flashes of light.  SO much rain that the weatherman warned about flash floods.

We spent the week-end with our Son and Grandson as it was GRANDPARENTS DAY on Friday.  Ice Cream treats after a short program where we were told how important we are in our Grand Child's life.

Even with the rain we had a very nice visit.  It was as if time stood still.  April vanished into the end of the month and I shared what MAY DAY is to my Grand.  May Baskets with flowers on neighbors doors from a secret admirer.  Ring the door bell and or knock on the door.  Run and hide behind some bushes so the one that answers the door has a surprise.

Sweet memories from my past warm my heart.  Memories.  Only small portions can I remember, but they are there.  Pleasantly there to remind me of a time where I ran and giggled leaving neighbors flowers on their front doors.  Happy times as a young girl.

May you have a wonderful MAY DAY,
d

may day

~Happy May 1st~
Flowers for you.

Have a marvelous MAY DAY!
May the month of May be a pleasant one that you enjoy.
May you take time to stop to smell the roses.

May baskets hanging from the front door knob of neighbor's homes
......recalling days gone by.
The memories flood my thoughts.

Are we not like flowers in the garden of life?
God richly bless you and all your household,

Happy May Day,
~d~

DECORATING

I knew a very frugal Lady named Edith that shared with me a excellent guideline for decorating. She said with ease, "If your room has clean ceilings, floors, and walls, and the windows have nice curtains, you'll have an attractive room."

John 3:7

“Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.”

King James Version (KJV)

PSALM 118:17

I shall not die,
but live, and declare
the works of the Lord.

PROVERBS 24:3-4

By wisdom
a house is built,
and through understanding

it is established;
through
knowledge

its rooms are filled with rare

and beautiful treasures.

As long as I live, I will have to continually submit to God's plan for my life. You will be blessed because you turned your life over to God. Be confessing how good God is and tell Him you agree with who He says He is. BELIEVE and watch miracles happen. Be not afraid. ~Deanna

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS
SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE CHANDY TO USE IN A ROOM MADE EASY. FORMULA MEASUREMENTS: Measure the room's height and width. Add together the numbers. Example: 8' x 10' room is 8 plus 10= 18" Use a 18" wide chandy. OR Take width of room calculating 2" for every foot. Example: 15' wide room. Take 15 times 2 = 30. Room needs 30" wide chandy. Standard distance between the bottom of the chandelier to the top of the table is 30 inches. When hanging the chandelier, make sure to hang it at the proper height. The bottom of a chandelier over a dining table or kitchen island should hang 30 to 32 inches above the top of the table or island. Most rooms call for at least 7 feet of space between the bottom of the chandelier and the floor.

WISHES

NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU WISH with all your might that the something devastating that happened in your life hadn't happened and want so badly to go back in time to prevent it from happening...it isn't humanly possible to do this. You can't change the fact that it happened. IT DID. But JESUS can change the MEANING of what happened to you and give you PEACE. He can show you the way in which you are to go. God richly BLESS you. ~Deanna
