Where Did You Go?

Peaceful day planned this Sunday as I think about much.  The month of AUGUST came to an end so quickly.  

Days full of activity to where the days flew.  

I've had time to think about rearranging my good dishes.  My BLUE WILLOW dishes are basically all in the two curio cabinets now, but need arranged to better suit me.  Still the Dining room table is covered with missed matched glass items that have to go somewhere other than where they are.  I had hopes to have the Dining room in order by the end of AUGUST, but I didn't make my deadline.  Keep forging ahead.  

This week-end, I hope.

AUGUST held hours of going through boxes and getting more settled into our new location.  

Went back and forth between the Cottage and this new house across the county line.

was delivered to our next to empty Living room. 


THANKSGIVING dishes purchased and I'm truly looking forward to using them in AUTUMN.  A trip to Kansas City to drop off upholstery material to help with FIRE RECOVERY toward a couple of old Morris Chairs.  

Still looking for additional fabric for a couple of antique Parlor chairs that need worked over. 

Grandson turned three and we were blessed to be there to help celebrate.

Mustn't forget that school started in August.



The Solar Eclipse took place across the U.S.  

Horrible FLOODING in Texas due to a Hurricane named HARVEY caused devastation for so many.  It will takes months, possibly years to rebuild.  

We celebrated our 43rd Wedding Anniversary as the month ended.  

I was not able to make the long trip out West to see my ill Father-in-law that has stage 4 Lung cancer.  I am HOME resting.

AUGUST ENDED.

On September first my health took a turn and I'll have to make some important medical appointments to see just what is going on in my 'ole body.  Not looking forward to this, but not sure if I can put it off any longer.

SEPTEMBER IS HERE.  The leaves of trees are turning.  Seems early for Autumn.  The neighbor lady by the Cottage had a  wood pumpkin in her flowerbed.  She placed it there weeks ago.  The season is catching up with the decor.  Soon I'll be placing pumpkins about my HOME for seasonal flavor.

I have to work fast at what I am doing as the days pass so quickly as I move so slowly.

The new day will start and I will see what I can get done.
