WEEK-END PLANS. Yard work, clean the cars, tidy the Dining room, switch out the TV room's ceiling fan, Kitchen faucet fixed, copy photos of Lil Miss, grocery shop and of course laundry. whah.
Praise the LORD, we got through the week. The fatigue I suffer with did a number on me this past week. NAPS GALORE. I had some frustrating moments dealing with life when being so tired. In tears and discouraged.
If traveling out of state causes such fatigue I will have to change the way I do things. Not quite sure how that will go.
Friday afternoon we traveled to a out of town track and field meet. Got HOME late. Lil Miss ran in a relay where her team placed first, ran the 2 miler placing first and ran the 400 placing first. It's a delight to see her run. Watching the athletes amazes me how physically fit the kids are. Amazing to see and admire their talent.
It was chilly outside and when the wind blew, it was uncomfortable to be sitting out in it. Between events I went to sit in our car for an hour. Cleaning the console and glove compartment out, I felt like I was being productive as I warmed up.
Being able to be present at the events is a sporting event in itself. Getting older changes things. The younger peeps don't know it yet, but age changes things. What was once easy is now more difficult to achieve. humpf.
I'm not able to see in person my St. Louis and Oklahoma grands participate in the their sports very often, but watch videos and see pics. I do pray for all my grandchildren and children. Let the Lord's will be done in their lives.
Let's eat.
On our way to the meet, we ate at a small restaurant which serves a delicious salad called THE COWBOY SALAD with shredded chicken, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, corn, olives, black beans, black eyed peas, small amount of bacon, avocado, sweet red lettuce and arugula. Getty up, cowboy. Twas good.
What a ride.
Today is in full force. Tuna Fish Sandwiches for Saturday LUNCH. A load of laundry is drying and another washing. Tended to my correspondences this morning. I need to go grocery shopping and return before dark so I have the energy to put the goods away.
I believe I will just take LIFE easy today and eat nutritious foods. In two months my blood work will reveal what my A1C is. More veggies and fruit. Cut back on dairy, meat, sweets and grains. 🥗
I have to get busy copying family pics for actual photos. I'll take the digital pics and turn them into actual, physical photographs for giving away and keeping. I need to capture all my grandchildren pics and place them in a shoebox for safekeeping.
I miss having order in my life. It seems my health is holding me back from being more productive then I need to be. Prayers and pushing me to forge ahead.
In the political arena, I pause to go there. This is a HOT SPOT where raw emotions seem to dwell. Is there a political party that doesn't cruelly put the other team down, but works together for the greater good as some would say? I haven't heard back from my representative about his stance on CHEM-TRAILS. I'm going to have to go to a Town Meeting where he makes an appearance and personally ask him his opinion on this matter. If emails and physical letters do not garner a reply then what will? Letters to the newspaper Editors? A phone call to his office where the secretary takes a memo?
My beautiful Lilac bush in the backyard has no more blossoms on it. Time to trim. It was a gorgeous bush this year. Beautiful and full of heavenly fragrance.
The Irises are starting to bloom. Love these flowers. I have to begin to mark them so I know where such and such is incase I want to move them later.
The Red Buds have lost their stunning magenta colored blossoms with the green leaves now appearing. As I drive the countryside, the color themes are turning Spring which is a welcomed sight after a very long and hard Winter.
I'm running behind on EASTER wreaths for the front doors. ha. I'll still put these together and say I am way ahead of next year's Easter wreaths. Spring wreaths will need to be hung soon as Spring tippy toes into Summer where it's red, white and blue Memorial day and 4th of July wreaths.
I am truly running behind. It's gotta be that I am rebelling for all the years of having to be on a strict schedule and now I rebel putting the blame on aging. After I get my fill of it, I'll not care and perhaps I will once again be on top of things.
Appreciate you dropping by,
~d
