We're Decorating On The Prairie with bringing a nice Golden Oak Bed out of storage and actually using her for real people instead of collecting dust on it.
~A Place To Sleep~
A few years ago we purchased this Golden Oak Bed with newer mattress. She's been in storage ever since. My plans were to set her up in the spare room when it becomes a Guest room after the room and floor are revamped. This is on the agenda in a few years. First comes the KITCHEN. PTL....Kitchen is scheduled to start in the Spring/Summer.
Whoop whoop! I will be dancing a jig when my Kitchen is dunnnnnn.
At Christmas my 84 year old Dad didn't think he could climb our stairs for sleeping accommodations so we said we'd set up the spare bed in the front Parlour. It took some work but my sweet husband pulled this off. We dusted the frame, vacuumed the mattress and box springs. Fresh sheets were put on the bed and my Parents slept well.
After our company left, we decided to go ahead and set the old bed up in Lil Miss's Bedroom. The bed has a better mattress than what she was sleeping on.
Lil Miss's Bedroom will be worked on this month and hopefully completed by Spring! Beaded board is going up. Will share pics as we go. Goin' PINK. Lord willing I will start sewing the Balloon Shades for this room this week. Oh HaPpY day when that is finished!
Lil Miss loves her Barbie Sheets and we love Lil Miss.
