Booga Booga....i'm human.
There have been times in life that when plans changed I didn't go with the punches very well and would get irritated with not getting my way at the time. You know what I mean?
When I can go with the flow and enjoy the direction life is going....I'm less agitated.
Tuesday was a different kind of day for me. Daughter stayed home from work due to running a fever and head cold. Lil Miss has a stuffed up nose and head cold as well and I'm praying I stay well. The last cold I had was just in July with one in April. Not a good record.
Wanted to watch ABC television and listen to Jackie Kennedy's recordings she made shortly after her Husband, President Kennedy died. We don't get ABC here at Home Haven, so I will either wait till the Public Library has the recordings to check out or buy a copy for my personal Library.
BOOGA BOOGA
BOOGA BOOGA
Instead of getting disappointed, we watched the 1998 movie HOPE FLOATS and ate homemade cookie dough. Oatmeal with raisins. It was a slowed paced evening and I loved it.
A nice way to unwind after the morning we had.
Earlier in the day around 10:30, my daughter said she heard train noises that didn't sound right. She had looked outside and said she saw cars going QUICKLY backwards down the street. Then there was yellow Police Tape across the street. A train was stopped on the tracks. I looked out the window and saw two of the older neighborhood ladies standing outside looking toward the tracks along with another lady that's remodeling a neighborhood house for a new Pastor coming to town.
A train hit a semi-trailer truck high centered and stuck on the railroad tracks not far from my home. Took some pics. No one was killed or physically injured. Thankful to God. The train stayed on the tracks. No derailing.
Excitement in small town America!
I took an afternoon nap. Needed it.
Booga Booga,
