ALMOST A GHOST TOWN
JULY FIRST WE WALKED strolling through the Carnival in town with no one in sight. Almost like a ghost town. Took some pics. Interesting to me that we were alone amongst the rides and trailers. Woddeled HOME to cool off and forge ahead for the day. Mentally, I need to get out of the house from time to time. I can tell a difference when I do like being revived. I managed to walk, talk and see some sights along the way. Seems like I forget that I need to get away from the house at times.
I have work to do today. Best get after it... after I take a short walk around the block. I missed out on walking yesterday as I just didn't have it in me to go. Trying to walk a little each day until hysterectomy time.
TIS MONDAY AND OFF TO A FRESH START TO THE WEEK. Yesterday, I managed to rest most of the day without being overly busy as I was in need of not doing much physically on the SUNDAY. I do have hopes of getting more done today. As I rested, I researched the majority of the day about health issues taking notes. I selected a dress to wear to church, but stayed HOME from church and didn't watch any services on the computer. Prayed. I am reading very slowly a book by Annette Reeder about foods from the Bible and how God loves us to provide the right kind of food for our bodies.
Quietly meditating upon health and what to eat.
I have been a product of being lazy when it came to preparing healthy meals from healthy foods. I used a great deal of highly processed foods through the years. No more. I am redeemed.
I am redeemed. I can give thanks and work toward eating healthier including simple foods without fancy presentations. Just simplistic healthy meals to enjoy and be nourished.
Patting myself on my back, I did something GOOD for us in the food department. Skipped Breakfast during intermittent fasting and made a noon thirty smoothie for first meal of the day. Then supper was a large kale salad with some cranberries and seeds from a kit. I ate the whole thing. I'm working at eating 7 cups of salad a day. I think I probably had 4 cups? EVENING SNACK was old fashioned popcorn with water. It's been a while since having popcorn.
The smoothie had a base of frozen kale and spinach blended with a small amount of spring water, then added some plain yogurt blending a handful of blueberries and 6 strawberries, small amount of maple syrup with unsweetened almond milk. Fairly good.
Next time I purchase strawberries, I need to clean them almost immediately after getting them HOME, slice them up and stick them in the freezer. Too often the strawberries go bad in the fridge and I don't get them eaten before pitching them.
AS FOR WORKING ON MOVING...Today, I'll carry down more bedding and grooming supplies to take to the COTTAGE. Need to wash some more laundry. Before the heat of the day gets here, I will try to drive over this morning. Hubby is working on the main house POWDER room making progress so we'll have some time apart from one another.
FOOD SELECTION FOR THE 4th: We'll be having all beef hot dogs, sun chips, baked beans and potato salad for one meal on the 4th. Fried chicken, potato salad and beans for another. Better make a vegetable salad as well. Brewed iced tea. Where's the watermelon?

BLOSSOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED
As long as I live, I will have to continually submit to God's plan for my life. You will be blessed because you turned your life over to God. Be confessing how good God is and tell Him you agree with who He says He is. BELIEVE and watch miracles happen. Be not afraid. ~Deanna

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS
SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE CHANDY TO USE IN A ROOM MADE EASY. FORMULA MEASUREMENTS: Measure the room's height and width. Add together the numbers. Example: 8' x 10' room is 8 plus 10= 18" Use a 18" wide chandy. OR Take width of room calculating 2" for every foot. Example: 15' wide room. Take 15 times 2 = 30. Room needs 30" wide chandy. Standard distance between the bottom of the chandelier to the top of the table is 30 inches. When hanging the chandelier, make sure to hang it at the proper height. The bottom of a chandelier over a dining table or kitchen island should hang 30 to 32 inches above the top of the table or island. Most rooms call for at least 7 feet of space between the bottom of the chandelier and the floor.
