sigh

it's valentine's day.
my heart is about to pound out of my chest.
not because of romance.....we just watched the 2013 Sandra Bullock movie, GRAVITY.
husband's idea.
after we started watching it, i remembered that i don't really like adventurous space movies.
they sorta creep me out and make me anxious.
not sure why....perhaps it's because i am a flatlander that enjoys being well grounded on kansas soil looking out at gentle rolling hills.
sigh.
why did i agree to watch this movie on valentine's day?
sigh.
take a deep breath and hand me another piece of chocolate.
i'm sure my blood pressure is elevated after that film.
faith, hope, love.....but the greatest of these is love,

Valentines Day On the Way

Valentines Day is on the way.  

This coming Friday.  Can that be for real? 

Children, Parents, Siblings, Grand Children's Valentines are in the mail.  
I went to the Post Office four different times to get their packages in the mail.  

Done.  

Now I must figure out what I will treat my SWEETHEART 
with come Friday.

A HUG.

A KISS.

A CARD.

A NICE MEAL.

A GIFT.

An 'i luv u!'

Valentine's Day is this week.

In just a few days, many will share a box of candy, flowers, a meal together, jewelry, a marriage proposal.  
Some will say, "I love you." for the first time and mean it.  Some will say, i love you.....for the billionth time.  
Swap compliments.  Swap Valentine Cards.  Here is my heart.  Here is my love.

There are different levels of love and adoration.

But isn't love wonderful.

May your week be a love filled one.

Heaven knows, we all need love.

Understanding.

Chocolate HELPS.

We don't always get it from the ones we need it the most from.....
so this is where we must turn toward God and depend on HIM.  
His Love is eternal.

Granny Nanny and Cold Weather HEART Memories

Remembering Story Time At The Library.....
Lil Miss no longer goes to the weekly Story Time, 
but she did for two years and we both enjoyed it. 

PAPER SNOWFLAKES made from folded paper make for a fun activity for young children.  
It's easy, fast and affordable.  

Nice results.

VALENTINE PROJECTS made out of paper doilies, stickers and glue sticks made for a bright spot. 

Public Libraries usually have activities for the entire Family.

May your heart be warmed by sweet memories that come to mind.

Making new memories can be an art form that shape sweet thoughts.

Make some good memories to warm your heart this chilly time of year. 

My thoughts go back to days gone by 

when remembering the pretty things we created with Paper Doilies.

Simple Pleasures are a part of life that I really embrace and find refreshing in this busy world of ours.

A Rose By Any Other Name

~Remembering Valentines ~

Sweet Memories in the making. 

A rose by any other name would not smell as sweet.  

A rose given to me by any other Valentine would not be as sweet.....including the chocolates.

My Husband presented me a beautiful White Rose with Baby's Breath surrounded with Hersey Kisses, A Box of Chocolates and lovely Card.

Nothing quite like a white rose.
February is the LOVE MONTH.
