Coffee

It's been a tad bit frustrating to not be able to get on the internet.  On Sunday we had rain and for some reason the connection died and stayed a problem.  Just when I could call it up, down she'd go.  Plop.

Will see how Tuesday goes.  Would like to Blog Hop and see what you're up to.

Anywhoo, after the week-end I needed a down day to rest my bones.  We worked at thinning out some items that were taking up too much space.  My body ached.  Took a long nap Saturday afternoon.  Sunday was a slow paced day.  Needed this.  Coffee in the Parlour with my Sweetheart.  Daughter took a road trip to visit family.  The house was quieter than normal and we sat and talked about the things of LIFE while sipping coffee.

Have a pleasant day,
~Deanna~

Dear Deanna I have not been over to visit in sometime. Missed you. How wonderful to have your coffee with your sweetheart in your lovely parlour. The peace and quiet is always such a blessing just when we need it. Your haven is looking beautiful and you have reason to be proud of your work and care for it. Blessings

Taking time to rest is important... and,I'm doing that this afternoon. After my voice disappeared yesterday, I came home early today to rest so I can make it the rest of the week. It's quite difficult to teach with no talking.♥♫

That was wonderful... to sit, sip coffee and talk and not be on an agenda to go anywhere, no plans, nothing but sitting together in our parlor and talking about life.

I'm ready for more of the same.

PS Great picture!

Deanna, coffee in the parlor with your hubby sounds delightful! I am sure you enjoyed it.

It was nice to just enjoy each other I'm sure.

John and I are on vacation in Branson with some friends of ours. Yesterday we saw "Noah...the Musical"...and it was so wonderful! It has been playing here in Branson for quite awhile, but this is the last week and I am so glad we got to see it.

It has been raining, but it is beautiful here.

Haven't been able to get online until today...so I wanted to check in with you my friend. I hope you will have a lovely day.

DECORATING

I knew a very frugal Lady named Edith that shared with me a excellent guideline for decorating. She said with ease, "If your room has clean ceilings, floors, and walls, and the windows have nice curtains, you'll have an attractive room."

Marvel not that I said unto thee,

Ye must be born again.

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS

FUN FACTS FOR CHANDYS
SELECTING THE CORRECT SIZE CHANDY TO USE IN A ROOM MADE EASY. FORMULA MEASUREMENTS: Measure the room's height and width. Add together the numbers. Example: 8' x 10' room is 8 plus 10= 18" Use a 18" wide chandy. OR Take width of room calculating 2" for every foot. Example: 15' wide room. Take 15 times 2 = 30. Room needs 30" wide chandy. Standard distance between the bottom of the chandelier to the top of the table is 30 inches. When hanging the chandelier, make sure to hang it at the proper height. The bottom of a chandelier over a dining table or kitchen island should hang 30 to 32 inches above the top of the table or island. Most rooms call for at least 7 feet of space between the bottom of the chandelier and the floor.

WISHES

NO MATTER HOW BADLY YOU WISH with all your might that the something devastating that happened in your life hadn't happened and want so badly to go back in time to prevent it from happening...it isn't humanly possible to do this. You can't change the fact that it happened. IT DID. But JESUS can change the MEANING of what happened to you and give you PEACE. He can show you the way in which you are to go. God richly BLESS you. ~Deanna
